The chief registrar of Ekounou court of first instance is no more

MAIFEGUE Mirabelle epse DJEDO DJONWE, the Registrar in chief of the Court of First Instance Ekounou has passed on to glory yesterday 14 May 2026 following a long protracted illness. The Court Registry Administrator had been absent from her post these last months, fighting to recover good health. She leaves behind, a husband, 2 children, a beloved family and colleagues to remember her. Born on 26 June 1974 in Yaoundé, MAIFEGUE MIRABELLE, started her career as a Civil servant in 2003 when she was absorbed into the corps of Registrars as Senior Court Registrar. In 2009 she was appointed Head of the Registry of the Civil and Commercial Section of the Centre Court of Appeal. Holder of a Licence and a Maitrise in Droit Privé Francophone, MAIFEGUE Mirabelle épse DJEDO was a graduate of the National School of Administration and Magistracy. She was appointed Chief Registrar of the Court of First Instance of Ekounou on 1 April 2015. She successively fulfilled that mission for 10 years, until she felt sick. The entire justice family bids her farewell!
